I am with you on this one Ron. We may not be able to see from one end to the other, on a few of our lochs, but we can see one side from the other-----unless its raining! Yes you are right, Great pictures.

Glen didn't mention that the banks are over 100 ft. high and steep in places. I belong to a dinghy club and we attract sailors from inland lakes in the US. They were a little intimidated when you couldn't see the far shore. Response to question of what to do in a storm. Run for shore and beach the boat. There are some great walking parks in Toronto along the shores of Lake Ontario and including the Toronto Island. One can go for miles.
