After 8 days it is still listed as being in NYC awaiting customs approval. Being that it is ParcelForce from UK I am hoping that means that it actually made it through customs and is now in an untraceable part of the USPS rather than actually being stuck in customs. If the former, I am hopeful that it will arrive in time to wear this Friday on the anniversary, if the latter my bumming level just rocketed to the top of the meter.

I specifically talked with them at Scottishkilts.net when I ordered it to make sure it would get here by last week, just for safety's sake.

Cleared customs 2 days ago and have been eagerly awaiting arrival ever since. got excited yesterday when my wife found a note from our mail lady on our box that she had a package to deliver but could not because our dog was out. After calling me to notify me, wife (good wife) went to the post office to pick up the package with eager anticipation of it being my kilt, just in time to be able to wear it today for the anniversary of the Massacre at Glencoe. PSYCH!! Major bum---it was only a sporran I won off ebay---no kilt.

Call just a minute ago from wife again---this time the package came to the door and my kilt has arrived, MacDonald of Glencoe Muted, on the anniversary of the Massacre. Unfortunatley I am at work until later this evening so I won't likely get to wear it today in honor of the fallen of that day. And now that I know it is waiting at home, I am jonesing even more to get out of here and get home to try it on------aaaaarrrrhgggghhh.

May need a wee dram when I get home to calm me down.

    Pictures will be forthcoming.

Glad to hear the kilt has arrived safely. Looking forward to seeing the pics once you get an opportunity to put it on.
