So how did you spend your (kilted...of course) Valentine's Day?

Went out for a lovely dinner with my lady in Old Town Alexandria VA (highly recommend The Majestic @ 911 King St for those in the area). Staff was exceptional. Even had some compliments on the kilt. Quick walk down the street to a hotel party for a friend. More compliments on the kilt there. And now we're both sitting at home enjoying the rest of the evening. Definitely a good day.

Kilted. Just a boring day here. Finished cleaning out and defrosting the freezer. Then I cleaned up the mess and canned 8 quarts of beef stew. 90% of the ingredients came out of my garden and were in the freezer.

My darling, sweet hubby needs more kilt accessories so he can really dress up for any occasion. I haven't seen him in the kilt for a while, so sadly no seeing him on Valentine's Day in a kilt for me *sniffle* We went to a friend's martini party this evening and he wore a suit (we were slightly overdressed, but I don't care... we rarely get a chance to dress up so that's what we wanted to do). If he'd had more stuff to wear to dress up the kilt, he might have done that instead.

I'll have to get him to wear the kilt sometime this weekend, though!
