Kilt night for Northern Utah
Attention Northern Utahns! I have seen so many different areas of the country having their own kilt nights. It really looks like a lot of fun! I am wondering if their would be any interest from any of you about putting something like this together. I really don't know how many of us their are, but I figure there has to be a few of us. I would love some feedback to see if there is any interest in doing this.

I am guessing by the lack of responses that their is not much interest. Oh well. And I am not sure why I am writing this since no one is reading it. I must be crazy...

Sorry I'm not from your area. One thing you might try, once you get some responses, is to form a "social group" here on Xmarks. We did that in Chicago and it creates a handy list for sending out private messages to keep the local rabble abreast of events and outings.

Me and my hubby and daughter would go! We live in Southern Wyoming about two hours from SLC and Idaho Falls. We might be able to get a couple of local friends and maybe my brother and his fiancee to go.

Already did it. Just having a hard time getting people to see it. I think if people knew about it, they would do it. I just need a way to get that first contact.

Cool! I will try and put something together. It would be nice to meet some people from here. I will see if there is anymore interest.

Rallying the troops
I've added myself and my husband to the Northern Utah group.
When you have some further plans, I'll let my bagpipe teacher and his parents know about it and they can pass the word on to the band.

What is the name of the band you are mentioning?

I am not sure yet. I am kind of the one that started all this. I just really wanted to meet some people that wore kilts. I am the only one that I know of. I was thinking more along the lines of dinner, only because I don’t drink. However, we can do whatever you want.
