X-Kilt #1
Here are some photos of my first x-kilt! It's been well over 15 years since I've done any sewing, but I think it went pretty well. I've definitely learned a lot about kilt construction and I have lots of little things that I'll do differently for my next DIY kilt.

Thanks to all who responded to my questions on the forum and to all who posted tips in their own threads. I did a lot of looking for info on the forum during the construction process. Even though it's still too cold to wear here in MT, I can't wait to start on my next one.

P.S. For you beer enthusiasts on the forum, in the last photo next to the wine rack on the floor in the background, you can see two 750mL bottles of beer. They are Big Sky Brewing Co's Ivan the Terrible. A russian imperial stout aged in bourbon barrels. It is awesome and those are the two remaining of the three that I could get my hands on this year.
