Hi again - I contacted the Vancouver firm and they were the firm that produced the orginal rolls of this tartan (albeit under a different name). Unfortunately they couldn't reproduce it except in 25 yards swaths and the cost was exhorbitant for the ship. I will need to contact the dealer again in Edmonton to find out if they have any of the wool tartan left and what they could sell several meters to me for. Again, thanks for your help and advice. It got me moving in the right direction.
