    I would also recommend, beside Matt's booklet, Bob Martin's work, All about your kilt. A hard copy and a CD-ROM version are available at the Tartans Museum:

    I don't post much on this site, and I rarely wear my kilt. That said, I would not think of trying to resolve an issue of kilt etiquette without first looking at this website. You'll get all the possible answers here and be able to make an informed choice

    I agree in full. The first thing to remember though is wear what YOU like, flat cap, white hose and all . We are a very opinionated group but in the end YOUR kilt YOUR choice. The kilt police don't really exist OR DO THEY?
