Man, screw the belt. I wear my standard kilt belt with my stag buckle from USA Kilts every single day. I love the look. I wear it with my Amerikilt, my Sport Kilt (on the rare occasions I wear my SK) and my more formal kilts. I think a trad belt looks great. Ignore these nay sayers.

The boots/hose look fine, too. The only time I condone the wearing of white hose is when the kilt is black. I think that looks killer.
