    Prepping for adventure

My wife's birthday is Monday, so she wants to eat at one of her favorite restaurants in the Cincy area to celebrate, so today we are going on a great journey back south again. We plan on hitting Ikea, Old Spaghetti Factory, and JUngle Jims. I plan on being kilted, my son's kilt is clean, if he decides to wear his.

So the plan is to wear a kilt to a Swedish store, an Italian restaurant, and an International grocery store. The first time going to Jungle Jim's since I first got a kilt.

Jungle Jim's is really something. I don't get up there very often, so I'm glad that they hand out maps on the way in - I've gotten lost a few times.

Anyway, I can guarantee that you will not have been the first person to visit JJ's or Ikea in a kilt.

    Have fun,
    Rex.

I have an IKEA right down the street and have been there in my kilt many times, I've never had a problem there, as for the Old Spaghetti Factory, I was thinking of going there soon, haven't been for years but again there is one in Toronto. Jungle Jim's I've never been into. Just remember to walk with your head up.

I think that this practice (that of going to establishments within one's home country of foreign influence or origin) as:

    Domestic International Diplomacy, DID.

As in, "I had some errands to run in the city, and decided to use the opportunity to expand my DIDing territory.
