My Wife Rocks with an eye for color
The kilt that I've been showing off was a Christmas present from my wife -- ordered before Christmas, arriving a couple of weeks ago. She wanted to put something under the tree to surprise me, so she bought a sweater to go with the kilt. She guessed at the color, since we had only seen the computer generated picture of the tartan from the Scottish Tartan Authority website. This is a picture of how it came out. Keep in mind that the standard lovat greens and bottle greens do not go with the green in this tartan.
For the benefit of Todd and Todd, here's a collared picture.
BTW, the picture was taken today, March 1, St David's Day. The temp is 84F (29C), and the orange tree is beginning to blossom, still with this year's fruit on it. You can smell orange blossoms in the air. Spring in Phoenix, Arizona.
And, my amazing wife is working on a pair of kilt hose (part of the hose knitting project that Joan started). They are lovat blue to go with my Clark tartan.

VERY nice on the match. I really love the spare look of just a simple sweater and kilt. This one just may have to go into my collection of awesome ensembles.
But...
Dood - it's too warm for a sweater! Turn the air conditioning off!
Regards,
Rex.

Yeah, how can you wear a sweater in that heat?

The sweater went on for the picture, and then off again! I figured that I had better get this picture taken before it got any warmer. We're just about done with sweater season around here, although nighttime lows are down around 55F (13C). Sweater season here is December and January.

Nonsense. 84 degrees is quite chilly for the Valley.
