I'm not sure I like them better, but I do like them... and lads, that isn't lime green (on my monitor), more olive. It's old-school Boy Scout green which rather appeals to me.
I would pick the green for day wear, but for a formal outfit: definitely the red. So the customer really needs to buy one of each! Now that I think about it, that is the universal answer to hose questions, is it not?

I think I would have to go along with the majority of the rabble and say go with the orange body and green tartan top, although both do match fairly well. The orange seems to be the dominant color in the kilt-----even if it is balanced with the green in amount of area covered in the tartan its overwhelming powerful presence makes it the dominant color.
I guess it may just be my personal tastes but I am not particularly fond of either of these colors alone (although the green isn't too bad) but together in this particular tartan the combination is a bit strong and very striking, almost assaulting to the eye.
One good thing about wearing the orange---you will not likely be shot accidentally while on a walk in the woods, and less likely to be run down when crossing a street in traffic while around town, and your mates should be able to find you in a crowd without too much trouble.

My vote is also for the orange on this one. I had to look at it for quite a while to be sure since I tend to wear green quite a bit. (too much if you ask my wife )
BTB I did like the diced hose shown above as well.
I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear

See my previous post about the piper from the 10th Princess Mary's Gurkha Rifles wearing Stewart Hunting tartan hose with a diced cuff.

yeah I saw that post. I meant specifically if Skye Highland could make them.
And by diced I presumed you meant two colored at least.
I was wondering about a tartan or argyle leg..... and a one color cuff.
Sorry Todd, I apologize for not being more clear.
soooo.....NorCal....can you do it?

No worries, cloves...my fault for not thinking about what you were asking.
I would bet though that Josh/NorCal can do it if anyone can!
