all they do is wand you. no big deal. All the other passengers stare at you while this is going on and the other security guards have a good chuckle at the poor sod who has to check you out. Other than that it's not a problem...takes all of 15 seconds extra time.

Recently wore a Utilikilt (original) from San Francisco to New York and back. Nylon belt with plastic buckle. Emptied the pockets before entering the scanner. The snaps never triggered any alarm. No looks or comments from the TSA folks.
