New Lady Chrystel Box double box
Hi everyone! Finally got a few pics snapped from this weekend. I hope the quality isn't too bad. My photographer had had a few glasses of wine! I have to say I am in love with this kilt. It is my favorite, and my 1st handsewn. My wife loves the double box pleats and I get the impression that she wouldn't argue if I ever wanted to order another! The fit is perfect and amaingly comfortable, much more than my off the rack kilts. I think I also prefer the one buckle inside, one outside arrangement as well. Everything about this is top-notch, and I will definately order another in the future. The tartan is Abercrombie, from some fabric I purchased right here from ChaseM and sent over. The entire process was fabulous start to finish, and the wait was only about a month. For a handsewn kilt!! UNHEARD OF...
I also have on a set of hose tops from Lady Chrystel as well and these are delightful. They are a simple basket weave turnover but really dress up the hose. I am also very happy with them. I must say, I recieved alot of compliments the whole evening! Thank You Chrystel and Robert!!!
edit - a couple extra from today 3/7

The entire outfit looks good, I really like the jacket and waistcoat, where did you get them? One day I shall send some fabric over to Lady Chrystel, her work looks wonderful, congratulations.

If you use PhotoBucket, there's an option to size your photos as they upload. I've got mine set for "640 x 480 (Large)" and they fit within the side margins of this forum. Would be nice if this forum auto-sized, I agree!
Oh, and just BTW -- fabulous kilt!

I wonder if Glen ever reads my posts and thinks to himself "Hey I was going to write that?"
The kilt looks very handsome and I too am really drawn to the tweed jacket and waistcoat. It just looks so right with that kilt.
I wonder if they work so well because Robert always looks so dashing in his waistcoats and his lady's kilts?
Anyway, looking good!
Cheers

VERY nice and looks great with the coat and waistcoat. An all together great look. I love those double pleats.

Just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you.

If I'm not mistaken, the jacket & waistcoat appear to be made from the same "Hunter" tweed that we offer, here:
