I have worn a ponytail since 1980. It grew to about mid shoulderblade length and quit growing!

Ron, since Cynthia didn't mention it I will: Have you checked out longhaircommunity.com yet?
Both Cynthia and my wife Diane are members are there are many long-haired men and even some Kilties there. And PLENTY of women who like men with long hair.
I'm not a member myself, but just being a part of that community enriched Diane's life a great deal.

Nice to see ya here! This is my main "home" now. LHC has gotten too crazy for me to keep up with and I found that I really can't experiment with hair products that much, sadly (my bratty hair... grrr... heheh). I still check in throughout the day, but I get behind way too easily and I don't read many threads there anymore.

What a nice surprise, although I don't know why I should be surprised... I keep bumping into people I knew from other places here at XMTS

Seems to be quite the gathering place!

I have yucca plants, the roots of which can be used to produce a shampoo of sorts, planted out there, as well as other plants for conditioning etc... I have a strange lifestyle, but if the world runs out of hair care products, I will be prepared.

My hair is longish...but not long by todays standards. It will be gone Saturday, as I am shaving my head for St. Baldricks, a charitable foundation that raises money for children's cancer research.

These day my hair length ranges from 1/4" to 1 1/2" depending on the time between shearings. I haven't had long hair in a very long time, but back in the day...

This is yours truly circa 1975.

I mostly use the friendship part of that board. There's a limit to how much I have to say about hair.

ETA: Someone who I knew from a legal newsgroup popped up on one for Dr. Who! I think the same characters do pop up all over the Internet.

Gees, you guys, this is the only forum I belong to or have ever belong to... I guess I have seen other forums while searching the web for information, though. A forum about hair kind of scares me a little.

So far, long hair has worked as a kilt accessory for me, but that just means I haven't heard anything negative voiced.
