Find someone (or pay someone) to knit you some thick, chunky cableknit hose.

    That should do the trick.
A friend of ours is an MP in Scotland. His wife has the person who knits his kilt hose double the thickness in the back through the calf, giving the look of more calf muscle. Pretty smart if you ask me.

    calf Pads

Calf pads spare blushes of Germany's 'sparrow legs' so reports a British new paper. Silicon pads that fill out your hose or you could just stick a sock in it.

As a former "bean pole" I tried everything known to mankind to bulk up, not only my "chicken legs" but the rest of me too. (see Charles Atlas). Nothing really worked.

Now, 60+ years later, I still have "chicken legs" am a "buttless wonder" and just wish there were some way of moving the excess fat around my waist to the rear, where I could use the extra padding.

The custom hose with the extra thickness in the back would be your best and least painful way to accomplish it.

    College of Piping hose

Yesterday I received a pair of hose I'd ordered from the College of Piping in Glasgow. The total cost was £16.72 (£12.72 + £4 for shipping and handling). That comes to about $23.42 USD for the same good quality piper hose that I've purchased from other sources for a good deal more.

The piper hose definitely help to add a bit of bulk to the legs, so give them a try!

    Cheers

    SM
