One great thing about this is that Matt had the exact one I wanted in stock, which has an imitation Cairngorm stone. 
I tend to pick the days sgian dubh or sock knife to match the planned activity. Sure, I have some favorites, but as every one of them is a real knife and not just a show piece, it makes little difference which one I choose, as all are equally useful. I wouldn't own a knife that wasn't real. And this includes the three "dress" blades that I wear with formal attire.
I think I need to make another concerted effort to gather all my knives together and pose them again.
