While I agree that the poor quality kilts they go on to describe probably reflects the majority of what you see on Ebay, this does not mean that Scottish kiltmakers don't actually offer quality low-yardage or casual kilt. Well established and respected firms from Lochcarron to House of Edgar to Hector Russel to Kinloch Anderson all make some form of a low yardage casual kilt.
I am always suspect of those who think the best way to sell their product is by disparaging other products.
I'm also suspect of an "8 yard 16oz hand sewn kilt" for only $150.
Ditto and Ditto... I agree with Matt 100% on all points above.
I think I saw BIGFOOT wearing a 5 yard Casual kilt while drinking tea with Nessie.
