I've got some of the ones I've made on the left and some that have been purchased or acquired with other items on the right.
Left hand column: Walrus Ivory/pewter pin, walrus ivory and bayleen (baleen) damascus, moose antler and baleen damascus, moose antler and pewter damascus, soon to be damascus and mammoth ivory. When I get some decent leather I'm going to make some nice sheaths for them and replace the quicky machine stitched leather ones I've been using.
Right hand column: The composite one I loan when someone needs it, A nicer Gordon badged sgian, A safety sgian, sgian brew (made from another cheapy), and a decent kilt shop purchase.
I store them all out of their sheaths, it's just a habbit to avoid any rust.

I've yet to get a sgian dubh but I'd rather incorporate a mariner feel as opposed to a Scottish feel. I guess I'll bide my time until I find the perfect knife.

Great idea! I've got a sailing knife with a broken blade (don't ask), I may use the remaining folding fid with a fixed sgian blade and some ivory scales with scrimshaw. Kind of a frankensgian.

Wow those all look great. I don't have one yet but i'll probably pick up the cold steel Kraton one (and then figure out how to make a sheath).
It Fits my more hightec look with the UK. But i'll probably pick up a nice Plactic bladed one for ren fairs it's kind of hard to peace bond a sgian dubh.
Sorry to have bumped this i got mixed up as to witch screen i was on

What a TREAT, to see these blades. My 'favorite" is Jamie's "Ox Handle"
