I'm with Riverkilt, Facebook is exhausting to maintain. Someone is always sending me virtual things (angels ??,doughnuts ? etc). And the adverts...Sheeesh.

I agree about the applications, some of my stagehand friends are not busy enough lately and have plenty of time to send such things around. OTOH, I have reconnected with a number of HS and College friends, some even in the real world. The nature of the network is such that, when I find one person, there are frequently three or more others on their lists.

I do try to do most of my FBing(another new internet verb?) on the high speed line, I'm dial up at home too.
