Agreed! Plus we have a couple of Ithaca members here who can scout out the best place, best music, etc.
I say we shoot for July 11...!

Upstate X-Marks Gathering
I am interested. I live in Cortland, NY which is between Syracuse, Ithaca, and Binghamton. Syracuse (Liverpool, actually) has Scottish games the second Saturday of August. Ithaca had their first annual Scottish games last year and are doing it again this year. I'm not sure of the date but can check into it if anyone is interested. Binghamton has some Celtic festivals also I believe. If anyone is interested in any of these venues, get in touch and I will get more information for you. Cortland also has a Celtic festival the end of August. Just some thoughts for consideration. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

For the evening part of our gathering, we could stay at the games site for the ceilidh, or go into town to one of the pubs. I vote for the latter - better for conversation and such. What d'you think?

I'm Interested
Hi all. New member here and am definitely interested in attending. I live in Cortland, NY which is between Syracuse, Ithaca, and Binghamton. The one major flaw to attending is that I am trying to find a ride. I am on SSD, and don't have a car or drive anymore. I am working on a solution and hopefully will be in attendance. I will keep checking for updates and see how things are going. Would really enjoy meeting other local kilties for friendship and fun.

I will try to keep July 11 open and perhaps a small Ont. contingent can be assembled, I see Glen has done the required pre-invasion recon mission.
Lock up your women........
