I'm having an 8-yard made in the Roxburgh Distirct tartan (ancient) from Lochcarron mill. I have several Scottish lines, but the immigrant ancestor I know the most about was born in Roxburgh.

Of course, I'm already plotting about the next choice(s). I have a great-grandmother who was born in Edinburgh... her mother was a MacIndoe and associated with the Buchanan Clan. And then again, I have a feeling once I "gone kilt" I'll probably be looking for something in canvas that I can wear doing yard work, and probably a 5-yard kilt (or three) to deal with the height of summer, etc.
