Another Newbie Hi
I live in So Cal and remember mom always taking us all to the highland games when they came to town so we'd see part of our heritage. She was 1st generation born in theU.S. Then I found out that one set of geneological lines on my dads side came from Scotland! I love doing my geneology but my mom &siblings all passed away early, oldest at 57.
Will be looking forward to learn about all things Scottish! Would love to pass on my heritage to my grandkids &beyond before its too late for me to do.
I think my mom went to Scotland& brought back the family (pattern)?
Need to learn the correct phrases for things.
Soon I will be asking ?s galore so I will appreciate any help and patience!!
For now a good evening to all & looking forward to meeting you.

Hello and a warm from the right coast, Boston, Massachusetts.
Question away, we are happy to help where we can. Do you know what Clan(s) you descend from? And what tartan ("pattern") was it that your mother had?
Keep an eye peeled on this forum for So-Cal kilt nights and meet up with some of the rabble here. If you have genealogy questions, feel free to send me an e-mail or a Private Message, I will be happy to help you.
