Anyone bought yardage from these folks? Anyone know what "10 cms (10 units = 1 metre)" means? Does that mean that 10 cms = 10 units and therefore the price shown is for 1 metre of fabric? That can't be right. Price per 10 cms £6.90 (Including: VAT at 15%). Surely this has to be multiplied by 15 and divided by my shoe size or something.
I've emailed them for clarification but my guess is this means 10 centimeters of cloth is 6.9 lbs. Convert all that to yards and the price isn't that great, so never mind.

Might still be good to hear if anyone has dealt with them though.
Recommend or beware?

Just got a response form them:
Price is per 10 cms
10 units is 1 metre (10 x 10cm = 100cm = 1m)
You cannot order half a jacket or 0.3 of a kilt. so all our sales have to be in whole units. To allow you to order 3.7m or 4 yards we ahve to do it this way. ie order 37 units

Steve, that's metric. There are 2.5 cms (centimeter) to one inch, 10 cms. = 4 inches.

Hi cavscout,
As a USA resident, you are not liable to pay VAT. The £6.90 equals 115%, so to get the price you pay is £6.90/1.15 = £6.00. This is also true of the carriage costs as well.
Regards
Chas
