your best resource would probably be J & A Beare In Dallas Tx, my wife used to work for them. They buy sell and maintain classic stringed insterments in the top classes (Stradaveri) to supplying student insterments for a 4th grader thier luthiers are fantastic and very approchable so give them a try it might surprise you
