    Ron,

Phil has exactly the photo you need but I couldn't find it with a quick search.

In it he is wearing a kilt, formal waist coat with tartan on the bias, and argyll hose all in the Galbraith ancient tartan ( because Phil is a gentleman of extraordinary taste )

I will shoot him a PM and see if he will post the picture here so you can see how the look works.

    Cheers

    Jamie

That's what I always used to think.

After seeing a number of others wear them here on XMTS I decided I just had to try getting one pair of truly authentic / classic / traditional hose.

So this is my way of taking baby steps toward it.

    Cheers

One could also afford it by giving up Starbucks $5 lattes for the next 3 weeks. You could also brew at home with a take away cup and save that in around 2 months.

Saving change tip: Do so in a container that is not see through. Change always grows slower if you watch it.
Best wishes on saving for the hose Jamie, I bet they will look great with the X-marks kilt.

Yes, it is a scientifically proven fact that coins mate and breed only in the dark, like in a pants pocket, under furniture cushions, in a coffee can (rather than a glass jar.

    Good idea Sara.

jayzus, man! that's more than the workings of a dark jar... you must have been playing some barry white in the room where those pennies were multiplying.

    Fantastic!

I'm sorry I'm a few months behind you

So far there are just the two of us (though Hendry and Ron might be in)

The question is are we looking at diced hose or argyle?

    Cheers
