With all that xmarks tartan stuff, your wife won't see you in front of the computer... Xmarks camo!

Jamie,
Here are photos of the waistcoat you asked about -
1. Without a jacket wearing jabot
2. Wearing Argyll jacket unbuttoned
3. Wearing Argyll buttoned
4. With tweed jacket (note it is a plain jacket in Harris Tweed - no fancy cuffs or pockets. It is bespoke but only one button on cuffs)

Thanks Phil!
Phil,
Thanks for the photos of the waist coat!
To All,
One of things I want to have done with some of the XMTS P/V tartan fabric is to have a waistcoat made like Phil's with the tartan on the bias. Preferably one that could be worn with both a sherrifmuir and a regular argyle and had asked him for some additional photos.
Hey if I'm going for argyll hose then I'm going for the whole shebang!
Cheers

Me, too. I'm up for the Argyll hose.

If you guys get together, I'm sure that you could get a group discount on the argyle hose. Everybody measures and pays at the same time, and everyone saves a bit. I know that when my old pipe band ordered new hose, we got a screaming deal because we were all ordering hand-knit hose at the same time.
Might be worth looking into.

Barry,
Actually this is what we are doing.
Josh has already offered a price break is for five people ordering hose.
If we get 20 or 30 who knows what he will say about that?
Cheers

Does anyone have a wee sample of the XMTS tartan to spare? I've never seen it in person, and would like to try to match the colors for a little project I want to work on.
