Reminds me of dealing with my family. My stock response to my brothers-in-law anytime they raz me for wearing a "skirt" is, "Pants are for girls." Makes them stop to think a second. Oh how I tried to get them in kilts for our wedding.

hmm... That's interesting. I can see why women find wearing a skirt uncomfortable, for instance, I like to wear my skirts around my hips and I hate it when they climb up to my waist. Also, when I wear a skirt I have to constantly think of how I'm sitting/bending/walking in order to remain modest, and sometimes I'd rather not have to think about it. And the shaving thing too.
But having said that, I do wear skirts often, but mostly when there's an occasion that warrants it and not every day.
I do think it's sad though, that as a society we have stopped dressing up.

Gentlemen as well should consider how they sit when wearing a kilt. I have seen too much at many Burns Nights.

Those of you who are married can always say, "My wife wears the pants in our family!"

I agree. Suits and dresses were not only the uniform in the corporate world, but they were also something you wore to dinner, a play, etc.

Ah how true. And then add to that "someone in the family has to wear manly clothing."

And the shaving thing too
Wait...wait....
I don't need to shave my legs to wear a kilt.
