Might I suggest the HUNTLY DISTRICT tartan? It is a lovely Scottish district tartan that was worn by both sides in 1745, by jacobite and loyalist, lowlander and highlander, and catholic and protestant. I believe some English mercenaries even wore it trying to blend in with the Scottish loyalists. It's on my BUY list. The price via ScotWeb is quite reasonably, especially with the 10% discount.
