Sacramento/ Woodland Highland Games April 25th and 26th
133rd Anniversary Sacramento Valley Scottish Games & Festival will be held in Woodland CA April 25th and 26th
I plan on attending Saturday the 25th, the F-H.C.A.G. will not be able to make it sadly.
We both look forward to the Woodland Games as they are just the right size, not too big or small and the weather is generally pleasant
The website for the event is here:

Anyone else interested in meeting up?
Cheers
Jamie

I'll be there, wandering around and visiting Clan Sinclair and Clan Buchanan tents.
What Clan do you belong to?(with?)

The F-H.C.A.G. and I are proud members of the Clan MacNicol and Mcleod societies, and our friends with the MacNaughtons.
I always stop by the Buchannan's to say Hello and have a wee dram with Buck.
As we get get closer to the even we should come up with a place time to meet up
Cheers
Jamie

I am throwing on Sunday, but I'm probably doing a seminar at an ocean racing clinic on Saturday, so I won't get to Woodland until dinner time on Saturday. My current plan is to bring a tent and sleeping bag and spend the night in the "campground" such as it is.
A Saturday eve dinner get-together would be great.

I'm planning on going. It's one of my favorite games, for the reasons Jamie cited.

Word from the MacNaughtons is that they have reserved two tent spaces, so the Rabble can 'tag along" in one tent space, again.

Pretty sure the boy and I will be there, most likely on Saturday.
Best regards,

I will be there in the Living History area with the Guild of St. Gyles Royal Lancers. Come by and visit the court of Her Majesty, Mary, Queen of Scots and the Isles.
If you can't find it just ask any man you see wearing a burgundy tam and black or Renaissance period garb and we will be happy to escort you.

I'll be there on both days. For the last 4 years I missed Saturday due to a required function at my son's pre-school. After the last games I told the director I wouldn't come back this year if she didn't move the date to something other than the last Saturday in April. She agreed, so I now feel like I must go.
It would be great to meet with some of you. Jamie is the only one I know right now. Oh, and I too will be at the Buchanan tent.
