GOSH! What a great look. You might also want to post this on the "traditional highland attire" forum as well. I don't have a problem with your sporran, per se, but it is a trifle subdued. The hose, however, are a winner. Well done, really nice job.
Oh, and I wouldn't fret overly about the cuffs-- showing a bit of cuff can be a matter of style.

Very sharp! I like the hose. The color is a nice match with the stripe in the tartan. My wife is working on a pair for me now, so I know from watching how much work is involved.

Ron,
They ain't nary knittin' mill makin' them thare socks 'cause they's way yonder too much trouble.
I've never seen hose like these, but I'd like for there to be many, many pairs of them on this forum and other places. (hint, hint, hint,...) I think they would look especialy good modelled in the Painted Desert, don't you? And in the French Alps, and in Inverness, and at Hamish's castle, and ...
Thanks for the positive regards so far.

Very nice hose. I will echo McMurdo's observation that perhaps a more formal sporran would really set this outfit off!

Looking good there.
I don't need to echo what others have said and in a way it's an encouragement to those who can't afford the whole caboodle at one go to show what they can do with the accessories that they have - especially the great hose in your case.
I myself have only (finally) got around to a black bow tie! (Wore Ruche ties with my PC before!)
