Sir Sean needs to work on his dress fashion, at the very least ghillie brogues. Buckle brogues and diced or tartan hose, prefered.
Yes I read some of the comments under the baseball players pics. I saw a news clip about pesticides in africa, Kenya I think it was, the local farmers that they talked to were wearing toga type garments in a plaid or tartan like arrangement. if you threw a belt around it it would pass for a kilt type garment. African American is the term used for people of african decent the style of clothing worn be them is american with personal styling issues, gangsta. The baseball player wearing the kilt was probably closer to wearing a more modern interpretation of traditional african dress then the people commenting on the pics.

They're stupid, it's best to ignore them and hope you never run into such ignorance on the internet again...good luck!

That would be the Maasai people.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maasai#Clothing You can see here that they wear plaid clothing, but it certainly wouldn't be mistaken for a kilt.

Thinking of the number of top quality ace kilts one could have got for that money I would have to conclude that Sir Sean has more money than sense!

i don't think that its the Cashmere Kilt. It looks alot like the New York City Tartan, but I could be wrong!

I have the NYC Tartan... its the first kit that was made to measure for me!

    Don't think so!

I bet it is just marketing hype. Sir Sean is too Scottish to spend that much for a kilt.

I agree. I know that tartan as it was that particular tartan which helped me to decide to get my first kilt. I think the photo of Sir Sean was from the event in an earlier year.
