If you show up kilted - even for the selection process - be sure not to have your
sgian dubh in your hose. Almost all courts have rigorous restriction on any sort
of "weapon" coming anywhere near a court room. You don't want to have it
confiscated - and almost surely NOT returned !!

Your right on that fact, you can't get it thru the metal detectors, and once
the sheriff has it, it's GONE!

I personally haven't been called for a long time, the last time was enough for them I guess, they looked at me very strange when I walked in,in my Black Watch, and everytime I walked to the rest room, never did get called again.

Are you asking because you are concerned about others reaction or because you fear that wearing the kilt will/will not get you on the jury???. I wear my kilt at EVERY opportunity. I don't have an opinion about what pants or skirt the other people wear, why should they have one on my clothes.

Just wondering about the hassles involved (metal detectors, for example) and if i might not be selected to stay if i show up in a kilt.
