It's just not fair, after I was such a gentleman on that alternate world.

    Congrats to both!!

So, next question...will I need to get a passport for the wedding?? Hear it takes some time to get one.

Yes, you will need a passport. In June, all travel to Canada requires one. I applied for mine on Feb. 24th and it arrived here in Canada after it was reshipped from my mother's middle of last week. So really it didn't even take a full month for me to get mine.

The US might push it back again, but I doubt it since they have pushed it back numerous times now.

We met here, on X-Marks, originally. We met in person last spring (Diane is in PA, I am in NC).

Have you decided to hold the wedding in Canada (with your family??) or in the States...

Guessing some of us will need passports no matter where the ceremony is held.

Watching The Graduate again to get that Dustin Hoffman late to the wedding scene down pat.

It is not set in stone just yet, but it is looking like we will try to get married AT the Fergus Games, if possible. If not, we'll do it in town or nearby, and hit the Games anyway. My family all live within about 5 minutes of the Games site. I have no family here in NC.

I am also going to ask around, maybe arrange a band and a party, who knows...I know a lot of good musicians up that way!

NOTE - If you live in WA state, we have another "alternative" We can get a "special Drivers Lic" that allows us to cross the boarder into Canada. BC also has one http://www.gov.bc.ca/igrs/edl.html

BUT AIR TRAVEL requires a PASSPORT http://www.bctravel.com/travel2.html

    Congratulations to both.
I met MacMoose when I was in Canada last year, looking forward to meeting his new wife also some day.
