Came to work in my Heritage of Ireland, and at about 10am I got a surprise as my Ferguson Modern (and miscellany) from Scotweb was delivered to desk! Promptly ran into the bathroom to swap gear.
Very well received, much better than I'd expected. Only a couple of people gave a "he's weird" look, everyone else was appreciative, despite assuming I play pipes :P

Tartan Trews do seem to be a reasonable alternative. Especially if they are particularly garish.

As I mentioned in another thread, I actually did get to wear my SWK Thrifty Irish National out this morning (yay!). That helped make up for the fact I had to miss some of the festivities over the weekend.
Hubby and I are relaxing (he's wearing his SWK Standard Black Stewart) and enjoying a nice evening at home. It would have been nice to do a little more and have him kilted while we were out this morning, but maybe next year

I wore my SWK MacLaren all day today. I spent all afternoon running various errands. I was waiting for people to ask about the kilt so I could tell them about Tartan Day, but no one asked. Oh well, at least I looked good today.

Same thing happened to me. I started my day out in my Highland Granite. Then the United States Postal Service was kind enough to deliver my brand new SWK Black Watch which I finished the day out in.
I have the day off tomorrow. Now my dilemna is figuring out which one to lounge about in....

As I was leaving the building a young woman entering the elevator nearly got caught in the closing doors as she shifted position to see me walk by.
A co-worker remarked something to the effect (this is a family forum afterall) that it took a real man to wear a kilt, to which I readily agreed.
