Well no less an august personage than Rocky Roeger (who recently placed in the top 1,000,000 sexiest kilted men in America*) would agree with you an Ayin.
But Jock Scot (who recently placed in the top 1,000,000 sexiest kilted men in Scotland*) would not.
So there you go!
Cheers
Jamie

First of all, that survey of sexiest kilted men in ameirica was from several years ago and has not been repeated so that data may not be valid today.
Second of all, whoever said there were even 1,000,000 sexy men in Scotland, let alone 1,000,000 kilted ones? ;) Maybe if you count the kilted xmarks tourists.
Ayin, it was a very interested if not heated discussion that went on for several days, so I am surprised you did not catch it. As Jaime says, we have all agreed to disagree, and it has become the new standard for giving someone a poke metaphorically whenever we each get a chance, so hearing small sideways comments about flatcaps will likely continue for some time. I for one have several in solid and tartan materials, and wear them regularly, but will likely choose to leave them in the suitcase should I return to Scotland kilted in the future. I still find it interesting, though why so many scottish highland wear shops list them among their headwear and in literally thousands of tartans if no scots are buying them. Are there really that many of us ignorant tourists around? ;)

Well Jock we had to as we couldn't figure out how to buy you a pint of the wonderful "Full Boar Scotch Ale" the Devil's Canyon Brewery serves over the internet.

Cheers
