The jones is almost over
Well I received an email from Scotsweb. My package has been dispatched this morning. So as you guys can guess, I'm on the edge of my seat. The thing I'm most excited about is when I walk into school sporting my kilt. I've been taking some good natured ribbing for a couple of weeks, since the guys found out I wear a kilt. So I'm gonna march in, Kilt swishing with a tweed jacket and show these backwoods country boys how a gentleman really dresses.

LOL, now like a dog you'll be at the front door everyday waiting for a UPS truck to come to a squeelling halt at your driveway...post pics when you get it!

Congratulations... the next step consists of exquisite suffering while you wait... followed by unfettered joy... followed soon by a decision about what tartan is next, and how to finance it...
...and then, repeat.
All kidding aside, you should be in good shape to be kilted by the Savannah Games!

Shipped economy (with no tracking?) or Fedex (with tracking)? And did they provide an expected date of delivery?
The jones is on until you have shredded open that package and slid that kilt around your waist for the first time.
Word of advice for a relative newbie----if it comes with basting stitches holding the pleats in line DO NOT remove them until you have tried the kilt on and are satisfied with the fit and feel. Most kiltmakers will not like being asked to accept returns after the basting has been removed. Kinda like taking off the tags on an article of clothing and then trying to return it---they never know if you wore it once for an event then tried to return it so you did not have to pay for it afterall. Also odds are if you return it they will either have to store it for future sale to someone else (in which case they will want the basting in to keep the pleats in shape) or adjust it for size (in which case they would like to keep the pleats together to make the adjustment more manageable than having 8 yards of pleated loose fabric flapping around).
Enjoy the jones---bask in it, bathe in it. let it soak into your pores, breathe it into your nose and enjoy the fragrance of the jones, it is an air, an aura, an emotion only you can truly understand.

Congrats. Remember, pics or it never happened!

Just your average kilt wearing redneck.
