Kilted five days in a row!
I was off to Manhattan to get some beer and a burrito at Chipolte.
I did stop in at the Little Apple Brewery for a beer and a half and while there I realized that for the past five days I had been kilted every single day I went out in public.

The longer you are kilted the more reluctant you are to wear trousers.

There's a Chipotle about a mile and a half from my house. I eat there about once a weekend, virtually always in a kilt. The staff is always happy to see me, and once, following a conversation with the assistant manager about my attire, my meal was comp'ed. I usually sit at the bar along the window on the stationary stools, pleats hanging down on either side in full view of the rest of the restaurant. People often come up to me to ask questions about the kilt, but mostly, I suspect, all the other regulars there are used to seeing me and leave me to eat in peace.
Five days, eh? Yeah, you're going to run out of enough kilts soon.
Regards,
Rex.

I'm hoping to pull off a similar stunt when I go to Vegas next month. I'm getting married there kilted on Memorial Day. She's been very supportive of me wearing the kilt, but I don't want to test her patience with it... I know I'll be kilted all day Monday, and at least 1 other day. I'm going to try for at least 4 full days kilted. The fact that it's got to be more comfortable than pants in the desert heat and it looks better than shorts should play to my advantage.

Oh those things only took me about 25 years to develop; High school track and cross-country, US Army, cycling, hiking and backpacking and running since I was 11 years old give or take.
