Any one interested in obtaining a Letter of Marque and Reprisal???

Check out the Marque and Reprisal Act of 2001. It never became law, but it is interesting.

Because the United States was not a signatory to the 1856 Declaration of paris, Congress still has the power to issue Letters of Marque.
