I was on the border, and at first it would fall right off, but if you put in on tight... my plan B which I never had to use was to add a bit more velcro to it.

Dumb question, but did you call Jerry and make sure it doesn't exist, rather than just being out of stock?
We use different carts, but I can make mine hide products that I am out of.

You know-Jerry has great service no doubt, but I've always received my parcels from him within 2-3 days (I've ordered 3 kilts and a plaid). Is there actually an instant where he over nighted his parcels? Just curious since I always hear these comments....

well
Dow,
As you know a Buchannan thrifty was my first kilt. It was a great kilt and I hope someone enjoys it as much as I did.
I love Jerry's stuff, and I will be ordering more thriftys for camping/lounging around that sort of thing.
The buckles on a thrifty sounds interesting, and I am curious how that turns out. Would you have to remove the velcro?
But let me give some advice.
The thrifty, if worn to a parade/outside event, will display your modesty with the slightest wind gust. I wish not to say anything negative about the kilts I love so much, but just be weary.
I also found my thrifty pilled a little from my sporran chain, but this is probalbly due to the chain more than the kilt itself.
Is this your first kilt?
