Great new idea for hose ties - puffer

Indeed, a "Great new idea", I like it!

How do they work? Do you just wrap it around your calf once and tie it with a square knot? From "The Weaving Welshman" website, it says that they are 40" long. Is that 20" each for 40" total?
(40" each seems like they would be dangling down around my ankles)

There's a thread over here on tying a similar garter tie. Those that I have are about 36 inches, and wrap around twice. They're much more comfortable than elastic garters.

These are "custom" made. You order your desired length.
1. The diam. of your leg where will wear the TIE.
2. Single wrap or double wrap.
3. Amount of tie showing under hose cuff ( note - My GOOD hose have 3" cuffs )

Example
1. Where I wear my Ties, is at the very top of my calf. Diam = 12 1/2"
2. These are single wrap = 28"

3. If double wrap then they would be 35"- 36" Tying + see the above post for "Double Wrap" Single wrap a Sq. knot works.

NOTE - IMHO, the easy way is to get some 1" heavy "ribbon. & experiment.

Also you may prefer double wrap, Many do..

Inkle Looms are cheap and easy to use, and do not take up much space like most looms do. Go for it!

IMHO, Tied Garters are the way to GO. They are more comfortable & "CLASSIER" looking than "flashes.
