Wal-Mart selling Kilts...
What a thought huh?
I just realized over the last couple of months I have been splurging. A new kilt on the way, some new hose, some hose toppers, a new jacket, a new shirt, ordering kilt accessories for my groomsmen. It has been exciting, and expensive.
In reflection, and in my inbox, I realized, Where else in my everyday travels do I recieve the service I recieve from the kilt world? All my e-mails were answered quickly, even when they were out of town, or busy moving into a new house. (That would be Rocky at USA and Sydnie at flamingo kilts.)
Or immediate shipping services and kind words...(Jerry at stillwater.)
Or the unbiased advice from Matt newsome, the tartans museum, or Freedom kilts.
Or the PMs from every day people who are willing to turn their hobby of cross stitching into a beautiful accessory at little to no cost?
I can not even remember a time that I recieved the friendship and service even near the level I have recieved from the kilt world. Thank you, and keep it up, its working. (My wallet is dry.)

It makes you realize the value of customer service and well made custom goods. It's certainly made me take a look at my other clothes and wonder why they don't fit right. Mass production isn't necessarily a good thing.
Off to look at getting a shirt made....

For a moment I thought the Gold Bros. had invaded Wal Mart. Scary thought!

Yes it is scary, and would be like Gold Bros. taking over the world, but think about it. Kilts at walmart, it would mean that our hard work in educating people has worked and kilts are main stream again. Think how nice it would be to walk down the street and not be in inundated be a sea of denium.

At first I thought this was a thread reawakened from a few months back, then I saw it only had about 7 replies. and then I thought, perhaps the 'bath kilts' are back.

I too, was seriously frightened by the title of this thread. I'm glad that you have had such a good experience on this forum, as have I.
Kilt on!
