Tartan Day Emergency - can you help?
I am marching in the parade today and my kilt has vanished - thanks to my dry cleaner!!! The parade is in 3hrs and i am tartan free, At this stage, I can't be fussy about clan. Anything tartan would do - even a scarf! Anyone got any idea where a girl can buy something last minute tartan in NYC??

Had I known of his plight in time, I would have recommended that he go to St Andrew's Pub, just off Times Square, and borrow a kilt from a member of staff. St Andrew's is the only Scottish Pub in Manhattan, and the only one where staff wears kilts every day of the year.

Actually there is another here now. I haven't been able to get there yet, though, so don't know if the staff is kilted. But not all staff at St. Andrew's is kilted, either.
