The first X Marks Kilt I did for myself from the first run of 13oz. I Pleated it to the Gray Stripe. I wanted something muted and subtle.

I then did another for myself in the damaged 16oz. fabric. This one I Pleated to the Sett.

I've now made 13 X Marks Kilts for various members and have pleated to every thing imaginable. Each is totally different, totally unique.

I like this Tartan so much I can't chose one over the other.

I, too. However, one day soon I shall have to decide! Decisions, aughh! Alan, thanks for reminding us of that great photo!

I'm thinking my planned PV kilt will be to sett. Some of the remaining fabric is intended as a skirt for SWMBO, so her choice may play into the decision. Hmm on the other hand, hers may just be cut on the bias.
