New Custom L&M Beaver Sporran
So I fiddled around with the design your own sporran feature on the Scottish Tartans Museum website off and on for months.
When I finally got my Prince Charlie "had" to get a dress sporran. The results of my last tinkering just arrived. Haven't had time to suit up yet but here's pics of the dress sporran.
Went with the Maple Leaf cantle for my Canadian heritage, and the beaver fur since I like it and have had beavers in my life in Oregon, Arizona, and Colorado.
They ship it in an 8"x10"x1 1/2" protective box. As expected the useable portion of the sporran seems a tad less than daywear sporrans - mostly because of the need to stay thin.
The leather latch and the leather part of the sporran strap/chain are pretty stiff. Will soften them up with some buffalo butter.
Tab on this was right at $300 USD. As much as the Prince Charlie!!
I'd better find an occasion to suit up in this dress look....

Wondered about that too Wally....was a surprise.
Dan, I "work" as a State licensed substance abuse counselor and professional counselor. Work for the local Mental Health agency covering the Arizona Strip. We have offices in Page, Fredonia, Colorado City, and Littlefield Arizona. Mostly work with clients referred by the courts, probabion, or parole for alcohol or drug related crimes. Do some work with mental health clients and lately a lot of work with couples - relationship counseling. Never dull for sure.
