I'm partial to the Douglas Modern or Ancient, not just because it's my tartan, but I really think that it is beautiful.

Honestly, it isn't the tartan that makes a man look like a million bucks, it's how he wears it that matters. Any tartan, from Loud Macleod to Black Douglas and all the colors between, look like a million bucks if the kilt is made well, accessorized well, and worn by a confident gent.

    Just my $.02

    The Results Are:

    Douglas - 4 votes
    Douglas Grey - 1 vote
    Douglas Red - 1 vote
    Scott Hunting - 1 vote
    Scott Brown - 1 vote
Air Force Reserve Pipe Band - 1 vote
    American Heritage - 1 vote
    Heather Isle - 1 vote
    MacDonald - 1 vote
    MacGregor Red - 1 vote
Matt Newsome Custom - 1 vote
    Pollock - 1 vote
    Stewart Hunting - 1 vote

(tartans were recorded without designations of ancient or modern)

Douglas came out in front as the Million Dollar Tartan, but obviously Scott and the others have elegant qualities as well. If this tally had been taken on a different day, the results could have been quite different. I think everybody wins today.

Personally, I think "Isle of Skye" goes best with everything but Catsup!
