Breeze blowing through the house
Hi, Lads and Gents here's something I want to share. My neighbour's kid brought this to me this night, a cut out from some local news. So here it goes....
"IT'S HOT. I NEED A KILT.
Until last week, Dean Peterson was just a relatively anonymous 48-year-old US mail carrier, Erik Lacitis of The Seattle Times writes. Then Mr. Peterson "went to Boston and nervously introduced a resolution to include kilts as an official uniform option for male Postal Service carriers. And even though his pitch to the National Association of Letter Carriers convention Failed, Peterson now has gone worldwide" promoting kilts in the media. Mr. Peterson, who spent 22 years in the US Air Force, was introduced to kilts by his wife, Joni, who brought one back from a trip to Scotland. The mail carrier tried it on. He liked it. Mr. Peterson is a muscular guy who is six-feet tall and weights in at 250 pounds. With pants, he says, "Because I have big thighs, the skin rubs, and you get that scarring, you know, where little bits of skin protrude?" But in a kilt, he reports, "It's like a breeze blowing through the house."
I don't know how old is it or what's the papers name, but I liked it any ways, so may you. Cheers Guys.

That story broke last July. I wish the guy luck and I think, ultimately, he'll make it happen. As many options as the mail carriers have, I don't think one more would hurt. And it'd look darn sharp, too.
Why, a child of five could understand this. Quick -- someone fetch me a child of five!

I think that should be an option for them, a KILT in the "USPS tartan" cool.
I don't believe the idea is to arrive in heaven in a well preserved body! But to slide in side ways,Kilt A' Fly'n! Scream'en "Mon Wha A Ride" Kilted Santas

The kilt he introduced is more like a UK than a tartan kilt. It was going to be in the solid blue color that thier bottoms are always in. I'd love to see my mailman in a kilt!

makes scene, right? less expensive and more uniformed. But, me personally, I like traditional type. Maybe I'm as conservative as this folks at convention.

I would just like to hear my mailperson stop complaining about getting out of the car to deliver my mail.
