I have MacIsaac bookmarked from an earlier post. They're in St. Peters, CBI, Nova Scotia. Looks like Rosemary MacIsaac is the kiltmaker.

Sharp kilt for sure....but what I wanna know is WHERE did you find ghillies for your big feet??

    I'm still looking. Thanks

I got the ghillies from an E-bay vendor based in the UK. The box says they are made there also. It is Carse of Gowrie Kilts and Kiltmaker. I wear a 14 or 15 depending on country of origin, so I ordered the UK14/US15. They fit pretty well and the price was right. I don't reckon I'll wear them but a couple times per year but it's something I have wanted.

Quote from Nova Scotia Business inc. ...

NSBI and the Strait Highland Regional Development Agency helped the company develop a proposal to bring in a master kilt maker from outside the country. With the help of a number of government agencies they were able to find a kiltmaking instructor that would come to St. Peter’s for one year to train local staff. Carol Fitzherbert, an accredited kilt maker from the Keith Kilt School in Scotland’s Morayshire County, moved to Canada to assist Mac and Rosemary develop an apprentice program to train existing and new staff.
Carol Fitzherbert made my Bruce Kilt. She was recommended to me by an X Marker via PM and I have discretely recommended her to others on the forum using the same means. She is now UK based and I understand she has made more than 600 kilts. If they are making them the Carol Fitzherbert way I'd say they are making superb kilts. Mine is the best Kilt I've ever seen and there are others here who will vouch for same...

Anyone who would like details of how to contact Carol and a description of her very reasonable rates, please feel free to PM me...

Thanks Ken, I'm looking for width, will check them out.

And John, you know why all my kilts come from Kathy Lare - Keith Kilt School graduate too.

I can only agree with you Ron... but if MacIssac's are doing it like my kilt, I'd buy from them too.

Carol's work is awsome as I'm sure Kathy's is. We should meet up someday and compare. It's not likely I'll be in Arizona any time soon but it would be nice.

Ron, I wear a 15D. Bought my ghillies from The Celtic Croft some 4 years ago. They have stood up well (I have had to resole them once.)
