Ruth and I will be in Victoria for May 15, 16 and 17. I'm recovering from something like 22 hours of surgery over the last couple of months, so am really looking forward to this break. Where are we gathering on the 15th and at what time? Will FK be open that day (I would like R to see a working Canadian kilt-maker)?

How about the Irish Times or Garricks Head? The Sticky Wicket at the Strath?

Just because you have 'British' in your province's name you think you are cultured? Loved the Empress, never had the curry though . The wife's always wanted to move to BC, We could vacation out that way and dump her in PoCo.

I will be at the shop on Friday the 15th of May but may be busy packing up our tents and gear for the show.
but any excuse to stop for a moment & have coffee with my friends is a good one.
I was thinking of having a Kilt night, but I will leave the venue to our visitors. The Bard & Banker is nice as is the Irish Times. Both are owned by the same folks, both are in the downtown 1 block from each other.

Yes. We are a cultured bunch and Rubber Chicken is not allowed in our beautiful province.

I guess Rubber Chicken curry might be a little on the chewy side.
