Hi Rex I must clarify my wifes responce. She believes that if one wears a kilt, it must be with all of the frills and finery. I can wear them if I am home or out alone, but my wife will not be seen in public with me in a kilt. Although she did go to a celtic festival in 2008 with me in a kilt. And the kilts I have range from Sport Kilts to some tanks. Funny thing is my wifes mother likes them. I can only hope for the future for a change of heart by my wife!
