Hi Sydnie7, glad to meet you.
Your hose are great, it's not easy, but you gave it a good shot.
Kind wishes.

They look great. I didn't realise anything was wrong despite your "Frankenstein foot" references. I just thought the hose were bunched at the top of his feet... mine do that sometimes. Any case, great work

Anne's pattern is easy to follow, and produces good-looking hose.
As suggested before, the foot will feel and look better if you work it in ribbing.
You've done a very good job on your first pair of hose. What's next?

Great job! They look fine!

Good job, Sydnie. Keep at it.

Just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you.

Thanks all for the kind words and encouragement.
"What's next" is Joan's cable/Celtic knot pattern due out first of June, IIRC, most likely in green.
I can see how this becomes addictive. For many years I did counted cross-stitch and always had a project with me -- knitting has many of the same advantages, portability among them, with generally more useful end products!

Sorry but you did not follow my pattern, that's why I don't or did not recognise the leg, although I did recognise the top that is why I asked, I don't do the purl stitch that wide, check my blog or Carol's kilt socks, big difference, you must have done the purl stitch instead of knit..... and the foot is right side.....

As for letting the ribbing run onto the foot -- the pattern stops the ribbing where I stopped it. But I suspect the rest of the foot should have been worked from the opposite side from where I worked it. Just wanted to Get This Pair Done and on to the next one, which will be better from top to bottom.
Bob my love, the Frankenstein Foot reference is to the "seam" around the ankle, no offense intended to your own perfectly proportioned pedial appendages.
